Butterfly Garden nominated for the 'Living Daylights Award'
At the Wildlands Butterfly temple, daylight is essential; not only for visitors, but mostly for the special butterflies and plants that live there. The special 3-layer ETFE foil roof system not only allows much daylight through, but the entire light spectrum. In addition, the system provides excellent insulation, making it possible to simulate the tropical climate well and experience the outdoors feeling!
In October, the ‘Living Daylights Award’ will be awarded. Once every two years, this price is awarded to the best daylight architecture. The Living Daylights Foundation promotes an optimal use of daylight in buildings, and believes that daylight should also be an essential and inspiring part of architecture, cities, and landscapes.
